Gas Data Ltd. are delighted to announce the launch of their latest portable site investigation and landfill gas monitoring and analysis device – the GFM436
Building on over 25 years of experience in the design and manufacture of advanced gas monitoring and analysis instrumentation the GFM436 provides exceptional capability to meet the needs of the environmental industry.
The GFM436 is designed to support site operators, land owners, consultants and regulators in investigating and managing landfill or industrial contamination. Its core functionality provides measurement capability for 6 gases (CH4, CO2, O2, H2S, CO and Hexane) as well as atmospheric, dynamic differential and static pressure. The Hexane measurement assists in areas with hydrocarbon vapours (from spilt fuels, oils or other contaminants) which would normally cause erroneous readings.
However what makes the GFM436 really stand out are the features it provides for field operators and project managers. Matthew Humphreys, Gas Data Managing Director explains:
“By maintaining an excellent long-term relationship with our clients we were able to collect really valuable feedback for our product development process. Clients still wanted the accuracy and reliability of our gas sensors, but they also asked for enhanced usability.”
The GFM436 incorporates enhancements such as a bright LED display, intuitive operator buttons and a new PC-based software management application. It makes it easy to use the device on a day-to-day basis.”
This co-operative approach provided another benefit for Gas Data too, advanced orders from the businesses who had added their suggestions to the requirements list. Matthew Humphreys is delighted with the “win-win” situation:
“Everybody involved is profiting from this approach. Gas Data has proved that it can respond to the needs of the market and our clients have been very enthusiastic about the level of engagement they have had with us. “
“To cap it all we have a product that is absolutely flying off the shelves!”
