GFM210 StowCheckPLUS for the detection of stowaways
The Gas Data GFM210StowCheckPLUSis a portable carbon dioxide detector developed especially for the detection of people hiding in confined spaces such as trailers, rooms and vehicles. It works primarily by detecting the elevated levels of carbon dioxide and reduced levels of oxygen present in human breath.
The GFM210 StowCheckPLUSuses an infra-red carbon dioxide sensor with a range of 0 to 10,000 ppm, and an electrochemical oxygen cell can be fitted as an option.
The GFM210 StowCheckPLUShas rechargeable Nickel Metal Hydride batteries giving around 12 hours use between charges. A battery charger and mains unit is supplied with the instrument and a field replaceable battery pack is also available as an optional extra.
